Guillotine Shear

Darley’s range of hydraulic shears with oscillating knife beam are robustly built, heavy-duty machines. Their design and construction guarantee reliable operation, an accurate cutting result and a long service life with little maintenance. The oscillating knife beam and the resulting clearance extend the standing time of the knives. In addition to accuracy and productivity, safety is another priority for Darley shears. A well considered, functional design combined with advanced standardisation guarantees efficient production. A system of clever options offers the possibility to respond to specific wishes at any time.

Darley guillotine shears comply with the strictest safety guidelines. And Darley co-operates closely with prominent inspection agencies to achieve this. Notwithstanding the current strict legislation, Darley still succeeds in extending the flexibility and the ease of operation of the machines. Inside the EU the machines are delivered in compliance with the current CE standard. Thus all machines are equipped with a walk-in safety device which protects the rear side of the machine.

Darley offers its GS range with a cut length ranging from 1250mm to 8050mm.
The plate thickness ranges from 4mm to 25mm.

Cathode Shear

Darley is a leading producer of stand-alone guillotine shears and complete systems in the field of cutting and processing cathodes. Materials such as nickel, copper and cobalt are processed on guillotine shears with a knife length of 1,250 mm as cathodes with a thickness up to 25 mm into strips or blocks of 25, 50 or 100 square mm. Darley can offer you the right machine, depending on the tonnage which you process on an annual basis.
