    Basic Solution

    A partition wall splits in two the working volume. While on one side the machine is producing on the other side, the operator loads and unloads the workpiece. The cabin has a reduced floor encumbrance and is designed for maximum productivity and reliability.


  • Turntable Solution

    Turntable Solution

    A turntable placed in front of the machine exchanges the pieces allowing the no idle time loading/unloading. A partition divides the table area in two halves, so that while the machine is working inside the cabin, the operator may unload and reload the pieces on the external portion of the turntable. The automatic scraps conveyor is available as an option.

Rapido

The evolution in performances, productivity, efficiency and user
friendliness in three-dimensional cutting and welding.

Since its introduction in 1992 RAPIDO has always been at the cutting edge in 3D laser processing. PRIMA INDUSTRIE has introduced new versions over the years to meet and often anticipate demands from the industry. Today RAPIDO is setting new targets.

Fast linear axes (acceleration up to 1.4 g), direct-drive head with highly dynamic operation (1.5 revs per second, acceleration 60 rad/s2), C axis with stroke of ± 10 mm and record-breaking acceleration of 4 g. The result is a drastic reduction in the times and, as a result, production costs.

RAPIDO’s long strokes (4080 x 1520 x 765 mm) allow to process a wide range of components in terms of size and type. Thanks to the extensively tried-and-tested tool replacement system, each specific application is tackled in the best possible way.

The Safe Impact Protection System (SIPS), with full detachment of the head in the event of accidental impact, prevents damage to the machine, parts and equipment and ensures immediate restarting of production.

With the Split Cabin and the automatic turntable loading and unloading operations can be performed in masked time, thus increasing the machine productivity.
